And... cut!

And it's a wrap.
One weekend of filming down, only one more (plus a day of lake filming) to go!
And I'm excited.
It's been fun, and funny and all the rest.
Today we finished on time/early and had no major problems really. We got one good blooper, which involves Luke being in pain from me slamming a door in his face (you'll understand later) and we drove 40minutes along the freeway (heading to GOSFORD!) by accident (yes, Lesley took the wrong turn off :P)
I also had fun having a) a slap fight with Liam over the radio channel and b) Liam and I duct taping each others mouths.
Also i think the funnest scene we filmed was the "ask out" scene, seeing as we had to ACT while DRIVING ALONG A FREEWAY... hehehehe...
And the best part was where they were fliming us from another car (holding the camera out the window) and we had to keep on changing lanes and swerving round 2 get the right angles and Matt had to lie down in the back of the seat so he wasn't in shot.. hehehe..
Good fun. Can't wait till it's all finished and done and ready 2 watch!
Woohooo...

Long Long day. After a 16th on Friday night, 4 hours sleep combined with a 7am rise and a full day's shooting, no wonder I was exhausted. Added to the fact that I hadn't eaten in about a day and a half and all I had was coffee that morning, plus I had to go to work halfway through the day only to return straight after.
In case you haven't already gathered we filmed "Love Is" today, and in case you don't know what that is its the name of the new Breakthru Artz production. 'Twas so much fun, of course lots of boring stuff and technical difficulties and running late, but its good fun just being in the atmosphere, with all our cool technical equipment and hilarious cast. We actually got to film one of the many hilarious out-takes Liam and I had been making up the past few weeks. Hehe.. I'm sure the "last bit" (yes, cast and crew you know what I mean) will be edited out (shame :( ) and we'll just have the first bit, but eh... we'll have the memories :)
Get ready for another 7am rise tomorrow morning and another full day of filming ahead!
Woohoooo...

Good 'ol Derek Steen..

Ugh, reports.
Some very bad rankings there for Geo.
I can't wait till next year, when I only have 2 do the subjects I like and nothing that I hate. All the subjects I'm doing next year are the ones that I was ranked like 2nd or 3rd in the year for, so at least thats comforting.
And all the ones I did badly on.. are being dropped!! FOREVER!! Booyah!

refugees get cut a fairer deal

Thank God for Petro Georgiou :D
I've been praying that his petitioning to the government would work!

THE CHANGES:

- Families allowed detention in community

- Assessment for refugee claims within 3 months, and by the Refugee Review Tribunal within a further 3 months

- Failure to meet timeframe reported to minister

- Commonwealth ombudsman charged to review two-year detention cases

i miss my sally

Ahh the joys of school blogging. It's quite funny how when I'm at home, and I have the time to blog (or I am procrastinating from something -and I don't have anyone regulating my activites) I never feel like blogging. But.. the minute I get to school, and have some crappy 1 page review of a PDH website due in 20minutes I feel compelled to blog.

This week has been kinda short - most probably contributing to the fact that I only have 2 days of school this week. Tomorrow we have no school which is good, just some stupid IGSSA Athletics thing that we are sposed 2 be cheering for, hopefully I can get some work done. It's so stupid how we have NO WORK like this whole term, then in the last 2 weeks, they feel like piling all this work on us. How ridiculous. Oh we got our Year 11 subject choices, which is always fun. Lots of discussion bout what everyone wants to do etc etc. And LOTS OF propaganda bout the HSC. I mean we even have a whole SUBJECT devoted to it. I tell you, it really pisses me off.
So anyway, the subjects I am doing (which Kiera and I decided on like ages ago anyway) are:
  • General Maths (and yes I don't care that I am dropping down from the Advanced 1 Class, I hate Maths and no1 can talk me out of it!!)
  • Advanced English + Extension 1 English (yes, I like english)
  • Modern History
  • Art
  • Music 1
  • French Continuers

And then I also have all my HSC Subjects

  • General Maths (just so I have like my basica 2 units of Maths so I can get into most uni courses)
  • Advanced English + Extension 1 English + Extension 2 English (so yes 4 units of Eng I do like English)
  • Modern History + History Extension 1 (i aslo very much like history :))
  • French Continuers + (possibly French Extension 1)

Mmmm that is a lot of Extension, ay?

Lol. Eh. I reackon doing French at Uni as like a Minor if I was maybe doing like a Bachelor of Education or something would be kinda fun. Hmmm... I'll see..

Ok betta go or I'll like NEVER FINISH THIS STUPID WORK!!

Only 5 days of school left... Woot!!

Tuesday, June 14, 2005

I find it greatly amusing when people say "I can't believe you're going out with a guy in uni!"

I am glad that Tim is alive and that hamburger wasn't his last.
Love you Tim.

All pretty-fied. :D

Isn't it funny that when you put heaps of effort into something and it actually ends up as something that you're kinda proud of.. that it ends up being something thats not even gonna be marked..
I just finished my entry for the SMH Young Writer of The Year 2005.
Cuz I'm in the top Eng class, they make us enter it, its like complusary 2 enter all this stuff. Last year I got one of 200 commendations given out, so I always feel like I have 2 do better.
I'm such a random I spent like 6 hours on this story.
I might post it later on (like after I've handed it in so like no1 can steal it and claim it as their own or watever) and u can comment on it.

Beth's in trouble...

I'm on "Behaviour Watch"
Oh how joyous.
It all started with Corby (aka. Mr Corbett-Jones, one of the evilest teachers in our school) dragging Kiera and I out of Maths Class to have a little "chat".
We follow him apprehensivley down the stairs into the courtyard, then he turns around and releases his wrath.
Basically this all stemmed from one incident. Kiera and I (who hate Civics Geography with the fire of a thousand suns) ran out of class before the bell, and yes we got caught. Hughsey (teacher) told us off and said we would be punished blah blah. Now Hughsey is real old and a bit dumb, so her idea of punishment was keeping us in after class (in Period 5 might I add) She left us alone to put up chairs, therefore giving us an excuse 2 miss a considerable amount of Civics History. So we arrived in Civics History and Mr. Watson was like grrr.. but we just said "We were being punished by Mrs. Hughes."

So apparently Mr. Watson had complained and then Mrs. Hughes had proceeded 2 say how she was punishing us etc and we shouldn't have been that late becuase we were just putting up chairs and how our behaviour and attitude in Civics was so bad etc. etc. and so somehow it had gotten back to Corby.

So Corby is there giving us a lecture talking bout how our attitude has to change and asking us all these questions while we are giving all these answers 2 justify our actions and he's going on bout how Hugshey is so great and how he will maul us if we make her upset etc. Then he's like "Yeah I've been looking through your records (:O) (he's sitting there holding papers with our picture on the front with all this stuff like detentions we got etc - Corby actually once caught me 3 times in one day for not having top button done up - all that stuff goes on) and you are very smart and shouldn't be acting like this blah blah take it seriously"

Then he's like yes I'm so dissapointed and then tells us that he is going to put us on "Behaviour Watch" which basically means they are going to watch our behaviour and attitude in class for the next few weeks and give us a mark (A, B, C or D) on it, and he's like "ANYTHING LESS THAN A 'B' AND YOU'RE DEAD!!" Then like storms away.

I burst out laughing as soon as he left.
Teachers are so stupid.
Oh the hilarity.
